Wildcatters Sign Three Players to Training Camp

The Lafayette Wildcatters have signed Bo Bartik, Sean Comiskey and Mitch Craft to training camp.
This will be Bartik's second year with the Wildcatters. He played quarterback last season, throwing 1,427 yards. Originally from Montana, Bartik played for and graduated from West Georgia University in Sports Management.
"This is a new year and I am excited to be a Wildcatter," said Bartik. "I look forward to meeting the fans and building relationships with them."
Comiskey played with the Wildcatters for the final three games of last year's season. He was the kicker for UL Lafayette from 2002-2005. He was awarded First Team All-Conference in 2003, Second Team All-Conference in 2003-2005 and Lou Groze Watchlist in 2005. Originally from LaPlace, La., Comiskey is currently an environmental geologist graduate student at UL Lafayette.
This will be Craft's second year on the team as well. He had 22 tackles and 1.5 sacks last season. Craft played four years with Southern Miss. In 2004, he received the Eagle of Tomorrow award; in 2005, he received the S.T. Poy award; and in 2006, he was C-USA's Unsung Hero on the Rise.
The Wildcatters will be holding tryouts on Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. at St. Thomas More High School. Cost for player tryouts is $50 and dancer tryouts are $20. ALL positions are open.
